Don't speed in other people's countries

I got pulled over by the cops in New Mexico... this is how it went down:
(its funny when i do the impression...even though it probably doesn't seem like it)

Cop: Do you know why I'm pulling you over miss?
Me: I was going a little too fast
Cop: Thats right. What kind of crazy license plate do you have?
Me: Oh ya. They're from BC.
Cop: (stares at me)
Me: Canada
Cop: What are you living here now?
Me: No just shooting a short film
Cop: Ah so you's all in the film business
Me: ummm... sort of.
Cop: Do you have your driver's License with you?
Me: No.
Cop: Why?
Me: I don't how I forgot it. I'm sorry. If you want to follow me back to the place I'm staying at, I'll run in and get it for you.
Cop: I'm NOT following YOU anywhere!
Me: Ok.
Cop: Does he have his license?
Matt: No. I didn't bring it.
Cop: Why doesn't ANYONE have their LICENSE? (long sigh)
Cop: Okay. Registration?
(i hand him the insurance papers)

Cop: Alright... obviously, I'm not giving you a ticket(laughs a little and shakes his head). But don't be speeding okay?
Me: okay
Cop: And if you ARE planning on speeding... bring YOUR license. Okay?
